Greg Nowachek is dark yet colorful horror artist whose work perfectly balances the imagery of the Macabre and the Psychedelic. His breadth of work focuses on both the lighter and sinister sides of Visionary, Surrealist, and Occult Art, combining a vibrant array of celestial colors into an otherwise dark and subconscious genre. Inspired by a life-long obsession with Horror, Science-Fiction, and Mythology, his work features a vast collection of characters ranging from monsters and aliens, to nightmares and spirits.

Influenced by Surrealist masters such as H.R. Giger and Zdzislaw Beksinski, as well as the colorful Visionary painters like Alex Grey and Luke Brown, Nowachek's work has adopted a pop-surrealist style that functions not only as an homage to horror, but also as a tribute to the esoteric, psychedelic, and the supernatural.

Currently residing in Freehold, NJ, Nowachek has exhibited his work across a vast array of horror conventions and oddities markets.  Working closely with local brands and like-minded horror enthusiasts, his work has been featured on album covers, tattoo designs, company logos, and apparel.

Originally pursuing a degree in Photography and Graphic Design, Nowachek graduated from Rutger's Mason Gross School of the Arts with a Bachelor's of Fine Art. After leaving a long-standing career as a professional Graphic Designer, he later started his own business and followed his life-long dream of becoming an independent artist
